Questions and answers

How do I book a car?

Choose a city and dates, pick a car and send a request. We confirm availability and the total price in your messenger, then send a voucher with the pick-up address. No online payment is needed: you pay the rental and deposit to the rental company on pick-up.

What documents do I need to rent a car?

A passport, a valid driving licence and, as a rule, at least 2 years of driving experience. For drivers from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan a national licence is usually enough, but an international driving permit avoids extra questions. If you have a Serbian residence permit, bring it too.

How much is the deposit and how is it returned?

Usually 300–700 € depending on the car class. The deposit is paid on pick-up in cash or as a hold on your card and is returned when the car comes back undamaged. The “full insurance” option reduces or removes the deposit.

Can I drive abroad?

Yes, with most cars: to Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia, Bulgaria and other countries. The rental company's permission and a green card are required, so mention your route in the request. The cross-border permit is arranged in advance.

Can I pick up and return the car in different cities or at the airport?

Yes. Choose different pick-up and return cities and we will calculate the price. We can also deliver the car to the airport, a hotel or an address.

How are you different from booking platforms?

We speak Russian and English, reply on WhatsApp, Telegram, Max and Viber, help with documents and routes, and show the final price with no hidden fees.

What if I need to cancel?

Tell us as early as possible. Free cancellation terms depend on the rental company; we state them in the confirmation before you pay anything.

Do I need an international driving permit?

Many companies accept a national driving licence (Russian, Belarusian, Kazakh) and a passport. An international permit is not always required but makes things easier on the road and at borders, especially if you cross into another country. We confirm the requirement of the specific company in the confirmation.

How old do I need to be to rent a car?

Usually 21 or older with at least 2 years of driving experience. Expensive and powerful cars, minivans and motorcycles have stricter requirements: from 23–25 and at least 3 years of experience. The exact age and experience are shown on each vehicle's page.

What payment is accepted on the spot?

Rental companies accept cash (euros or dinars) and bank cards. Note that cards issued by Russian banks usually do not work abroad, so bring cash or a card from a bank in another country. If you need another method, write to us and we will advise.

Who pays for tolls and fines?

The renter pays tolls and fines. Toll sections in Serbia can be paid at the booth in cash or by card, and some motorways use electronic tags. Fines are sent to the rental company, which deducts them from the deposit or sends an invoice.

What should I do after an accident or breakdown?

Call the police (192) after an accident, or the assistance number given in your agreement, and tell the rental company straight away. Do not leave the scene and do not sign papers you do not understand. We are available in Russian and will help you communicate with the company.

Is a green card included, and do I need one?

A green card (insurance for driving abroad) is needed to leave Serbia. Many companies include it in the cross-border permission, some charge separately. State your route in the request: we will check which countries are allowed and how much it costs.

What does “full insurance with no excess” mean?

Basic insurance includes an excess: an amount you pay yourself if the vehicle is damaged. “Full insurance” (for an extra fee) reduces or removes the excess and the deposit. It usually does not cover tyres, glass, the underbody and the interior: please read the terms in the agreement.

Can I extend my rental?

Yes, if the vehicle is not booked after you. Tell us or the rental company in advance, ideally a day before. The extension is priced at the company's rate. Returning the vehicle late without agreement is subject to a penalty.

How do I refuel, and which fuel is needed?

Vehicles are usually handed over with a full tank and must be returned at the same level. The fuel type is shown on the vehicle's page: petrol, diesel, hybrid or electric. Fuel stations are found across Serbia and open 24 hours on the main roads. For electric cars, ask about the charging adapter.

Can I travel with children, and can I get a child seat?

Yes. Most companies offer child seats and boosters, often free or for a small fee. State the child's age and weight in your request so that we pick the right seat. In Serbia children under 12 must travel in a child seat or booster and in the back seat.
