Good to know
- Main season: April to October. In winter not every partner rents out.
- Scooters (A1) suit the city; for highways and mountains a motorcycle of 350 cc or more is better.
- A category B licence does not cover motorcycles: you need A1, A2 or A.
- It takes about 20 minutes from the airport to the centre; parking in the centre is paid by zone.
Questions about motorcycle rental
What licence do I need to rent a motorcycle?
You need the category that matches the motorcycle: A1 for scooters up to 125 cc, A2 for motorcycles up to 35 kW, A for the rest. A category B licence does not cover motorcycles. The category, minimum experience and age are shown on each model's page.
What is included in a motorcycle rental?
Liability insurance, a helmet and a mileage allowance. Riding gear (jacket, trousers, gloves), a top case and a passenger helmet can be added when booking.
How much is the deposit?
From 300 € for scooters to 2,000 € for large motorcycles. The deposit is returned once the motorcycle comes back undamaged. Full insurance without excess reduces the deposit.
Can I ride abroad on a rental motorcycle?
On most motorcycles yes, to Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia, Bulgaria and other countries. Written permission from the rental company and a green card are required, so mention your route in the request. Scooters are not allowed to leave Serbia.
What is the riding season?
The main season runs from April to October, peaking from June to September. In winter rental is available only from some partners at a reduced price, and weather and road conditions are your responsibility.
Can I ride with a passenger?
Yes, every motorcycle has a passenger seat. A helmet and, if needed, gear are available for the passenger. Mention it in your request.
